One thing to note… Because of its unique position, getting to the resort can be a bit bumpy by car and the transfer time is approximately ninety minutes. If this a concern we recommend a helicopter tour. Here you'll fly into the George F.L Charles Airport, which is only about 15 minutes away from the resort. Even if you’re comfortable with the drive, this flight to the north is one that you’ll remember for a lifetime!

Rooms are well appointed and many have been updated. Our favorites are the Caribbean beachfront suites that have spectacular views of Rodney Bay.
The Red Lane Spa at Sandals Grande St. Lucian is one of the best. It features a rare amenity in that it includes a eucalyptus steam room located behind the spa. It is accessible to all visitors and but rarely utilized. Make sure to visit and enjoy this experience!
The main pool hosts a swim up bar and it’s where all the activity takes place. The playmakers are a blast but if you’re looking something more relaxed there are secluded retreats around the resort.
The beach is beautiful and ocean water is crystal clear. If you’re into snorkeling you can see beautiful fish and coral right around the main pier.
Lounge chairs around the pools and on the beach are not in short supply.
The water sports team is amazing and there is so much to do. Including, sailing, scuba diving, paddle boards, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. If you want a lesson, just ask and they’ll be more than happy to help!
The dive team is exceptional and the diving in St. Lucia is amongst the best. Seeing the Pitons from the ocean after your safety stop is a great way to do experience the island.

How far away is Sandals Grande St. Lucian from the airport? A: The resort transfer takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours over scenic, windy and sometimes narrow roads. For those who are prone to car sickness it might be best to consider the helicopter transfer. This reduces the transfer time to about 15 min (plus a short drive to the Grande).
Dinner reservations are required for some restaurants. If you’re in a Club Level room, contact your concierge as soon as you arrive to make your reservations. If you are in a butler category, consult with your butler so they can do it for you. Those in the Luxury category, there is a food and dining representative in the main lobby to assist you.
Beaches in St. Lucia are public and there will be a fair amount of people selling tours. They are not pushy and a friendly "no thank you" is enough to let them know you’re uninterested. If you are interested, there are some good ones including the Simon Says & Joe Knows tour.
Guests are able to walk to the village and to Pigeon Park. You can climb Pigeon Mountain for $7.00 and the views are well worth it. Wear Sneakers!

As an adults-only, all-inclusive Sandals Grande Antigua caters to couples looking for a romantic getaway. Guests can choose between a cottage in the original beachfront Caribbean Grove or a suite at the poolside Mediterranean Village. The General Manager is active and it’s not unusual for him to be commending his staff, chatting with the guests and even picking up glasses.
The food is world-class and there are eleven restaurants to choose from. All of which are part of the global dining all-inclusive experience.
On the Mediterranean pool side of Sandals Grande Antigua. The rooms are spacious and have a small balcony overlooking the Caribbean ocean. The bathroom is large with a Jacuzzi bath and a rain forest shower.
One thing to note. The Mediterranean Village is set back from the beach but has the best ocean views. It only takes a few minutes walk there, just past the beautiful pool and Barefoot restaurant.
The beach is beautiful but not very wide on the Mediterranean side. Further down towards the Caribbean Village there is plenty of space to spread out.
Their water sports team is amongst the best within the Sandals Resort brand. They'll always go out of their way to make sure you’re having a safe and amazing time.
The scuba diving team is exceptional. Antigua is not known for diving but it is a fun activity and there are some great locations. We particularly enjoy the drift dives.
One thing to note. Unlike other Sandals Resorts. Sandals Grande Antigua does not have a dock so you do need to wade through the water to get on and off the boat.
Day beds around the pools and on the beach are abundant.
The Red Lane Spa is exceptional in every way. We love their lavender scalp massages. If you make this your vacation destination, you must give them a visit!
Fire pits are located throughout the resort.
We love the piano bar in the evening. It's a great place to sing songs, chat with other guests and make new friends.

This lush property along Pink Gin Beach is a luxurious all-inclusive resort catering to couples. It’s one of the top rated Sandals resorts by TripAdvisor and is located just .5 miles from Maurice Bishop International Airport and 11 miles from Annandale Waterfalls.
Sandals Grenada features well appointed chic rooms with tropical décor, in-room minibars and free Wi-Fi. Most have balconies or patios with soaking tubs too. The Club Level and Butler suites are spacious and provide access to dedicated lounging areas. Some even have second levels and/or infinity pools with ocean views.

Sandals Grenada has two main pools and several other beautiful pools throughout the resort. The large main pool is where most of the activity takes place. The other main pool has a unique feature belonging to Sandals Grenada. The beach is beautiful and private but not that expansive so it’s easily walkable.
The towel game is not as prevalent here as there are many spots to relax both around the pool and beach.
The diving in Grenada is excellent and some of the best I’ve done anywhere in the Caribbean even rivaling my dives in Australia on the Great Barrier Reef. The dive team is top notch, fun, professional, safety conscious and e is a different party theme each night.

Sandals South Coast has an expansive and beautiful beach with many places to retreat.
If you’re into relaxing by the pool, this resort features the largest pool in Jamaica. It's close to the beach and has a huge swim-up bar.
The food is world-class. With nine different Global Dining restaurants to choose from there is truly something for everyone.
We love the staff at this resort. They enjoy their job and will go out of their way to make sure you’re having an incredible vacation experience.
The Red Lane Spa is one of our favorite features and includes many services. If you only want to visit, you can use the free steam room, sauna, plunge pool, and hot tub.
Rooms are large and the beds are not too hard. Best of all, Sandals South Coast is all beachfront so you’ll awake each morning to a beautiful ocean view.
Sandals South Coast features three pools, including the brand new redesigned Dutch village pool. The French Pool is the smallest and has most of the daily activities. The Italian pool is the largest with floats you can lounge on and take in the Caribbean sunshine.

Sandals Dunn's River is the newest resort in Sandals portfolio and our # 5 pick for the best Sandals resort. It's also one of the originals. Having opened in 1991, this historic hotel dates back to the 1950's and is a true gem in Jamaica.
Following the repurchase of the resort in 2020, a renovation worth $230 million was finished in 2023 and while the old world charm is still seen and felt throughout the hotel, it's been modernized to be a true luxury resort.

Sandals Emerald Bay
Sandals Emerald Bay is a secluded and sophisticated resort located on the outer islands of the Bahamas. It's our pick for the # 6 Best Sandals Resort and for those visiting, you’ll find yourself getting lost in the moment from the second you first lay your eyes upon one of the most incredible beaches in the world. In fact, Astronaut Scott Kelly called Exuma “The Most Beautiful Place from Space”.
This resort is a bit more relaxed however, there are endless amounts activities to take advantage of and our favorite tour is an offsite visit to the island with swimming pigs. These gentle giants will welcome you at the boat and are so much fun to feed and swim with.

The entire resort is Club Level & Butler rooms only.
The staff at Sandals Emerald Bay is so much fun. They enjoy looking after their guests and will make sure that you have a great time.
The restaurants are good and there’s something for everyone here. One thing to note… reservations are required at the II Cielo (Italian), and La Parisienne (French) restaurants. Make it a point to visit these restaurants as they're some of the best in the Sandals portfolio.
The rooms are large with big bathrooms.
The mile long beach is stunning, private and relaxing. There can be some waves but is swimmable.
Palapas and lounges are easy to find on the expansive beach.
Water sports are available to all guests. This includes kayaking, Hobie cats, windsurfing, snorkeling tours and scuba diving.
The diving here is not as good as other parts of the Caribbean. There tends to be a lot less coral and more sand but is recommended for those who enjoy a recreational dive.

Access to the Greg Norman Golf course is just a short golf cart drive away and features some amazing views off the back nine.

The food is great and if you have any dietary needs the chef will gladly put together a meal plan. As with all Sandals resorts, breakfast is always a star and at Sandals Halcyon Beach it’s no exception.
There are 2 pools at Sandals Halcyon; both have swim up bars. The larger pool has music and hosts many of their daily aquatic activities. The second pool is a quiet pool
The Beach is lovely, very clean, and, well maintained.
The rooms are well appointed and many of them have been or are in the process of being updated.
There are plenty of loungers available on the beach and at the pools.
Fire pits are placed throughout the resort. We love having a night-cap here and striking up conversation with new friends.
Scuba diving is available and St. Lucia has some of the best diving in the Caribbean.
A visit to the Red Lane Spa is a must as the massages here are very relaxing.
Stay at 1 play at 3 is a big plus. Sandals Halcyon is less expensive than Sandals Regency LaToc and Sandals Grande St. Lucia so if you’re here you can save some money while still enjoying all that Sandals has to offer.

Sandals Halcyon Beach typically attracts an older crowd and is more of a resort focused on relaxation.
The resort is located off the main road which means is you are in the 700 – 800 block of rooms it’s possible you’ll hear some street noise.
First floor rooms are close to walking paths so there can be a lot of people walking by. If you want privacy we recommend an upper level.
There are vendors soliciting items and tours on the beach. They are respectful and a polite, “no” is enough to send them on their way.
The staff does not offer drink service on the beach.
How long does it take to get to Sandals Halcyon? It takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to get from the airport over curvy, windy roads to the resort.
There are differences between ocean view and ocean front so we’ll work with you to ensure you get the room you want.
