Having been completely reimagined in 2016, Sandals Ochi is located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and has both beachfront accommodations and rooms tucked away in the hillside of this beautiful destination. For those looking for a unique travel experience the “Great House” offers a private location within the Butler Village that features an enclave of villas and plunge pools along with the exclusive services provided by your own personal butler.


The Riviera Seaside accommodations include oceanfront property all within reach of The Ochi Beach Club's swim-up bar and promenade that feature romantic gazebos and an a la carte restaurant built right on the ocean. If you’re a golf fan, booking a room at this Sandals property provides you with full access to the resort's 18-hole golf course and the guest-approved Red Lane Spa.

  • How far is Sandals Ochi from the airport? Approximately 90 minutes by car from the Montego Bay airport however, American Airlines is now offering service twice a week from Miami to the Ian Fleming airport in Ocho Rios. With that flight, the transfer time is less than 15 minutes.

  • Why is Sandals Ochi cheaper than other Sandals Resorts? A: Sandals Ochi still maintains it's original Caribbean charm and is slowly being updated to the Sandals 2.0 philosophy. While these improvements are taking place, you'll find the best deals at Sandals Ochi. 

  • The resort is large and hilly. As such, there are a lot of stairs and you will do quite a bit of walking.

  • There are two sections to this resort that are separated by a road. The ocean side is where most of the activities are and for those close to the action the entertainment could be noisy while the Butler Village is more relaxing and quiet.

  • There is a shuttle that takes you to and from either side of the resort every 10 minutes.

  • There are cabanas available throughout the resort but unlike some of the other Sandals properties there is an extra charge to use them.
