So anyone that knows us well, also knows that Beaches Turks and Caicos is one of our all time favorite family resorts in the Caribbean and there are more than a few good reasons for that!
For one, it’s all inclusive- ahh! Just being able to eat and/or get something to drink at a moments notice is a big deal when traveling with kids, especially when they decide that they are ravenously hungry and need their third pre-dinner snack right now! The resort boasts 22 restaurants to choose from, so they have you covered with many different dining options and best of all you'll never have to worry about carrying your wallet around or having to bill it to your room. (certain room categories also have access to 24hr room service!) and just because Beaches is so awesome they even have a dedicated kids restaurant, "Bobby Dee's" located in the water park, serving up burgers, hot dogs, fries and milkshakes, all the kids favorites- genius!
Speaking of the water park, that’s reason number 2- this place is beyond cool, a lazy river, pirate ship and splash pad, impressive water slides and of course the swim up kids bar and attached restaurant ensures that your kids (and you) will have the time of your lives.
Next up is the the exceptional kids club program... what can I say-we are huge fans of this inclusion and our daughter loves it! Honestly though and I’m slightly embarrassed to admit this but she prefers to spend her vacation there, rather than on the beach with us. For those interested in this feature, the kids club is broken up into 3 groups according to age- infants, young kids and preteens; with great activities at all. Our daughter (the young kids) got to participate in group play and other activities, swim in the dedicated kids club pool and was taken to the buffet restaurant each day for lunch with the other little ones - so cute! and of course being able to interact with the Sesame Street characters and watch the street parade is a huge plus that the kids always love! The clubs hours are 8:00am - 9:00pm and evening in room babysitting is also available at an additional cost of $20.00 per hour.
The resort itself- the grounds, amenities and beach are always beautiful and perfectly maintained and most of the guest rooms have been recently updated. The fact that the Sandals/Beach’s brand of resorts are looked after and maintained so well, with cutting edge designs and improvements are a few of the many reasons we are always confident in sending our clients to their properties.
And now the beach, which is my number one reason why we choose Beaches, Turks and Caicos- it doesn’t get much better than this- calm, crystal blue waters and perfectly soft white sand make for the perfect vacation experience and with the resort having all your water activities covered such as, diving, snorkeling, sail boats, mask, flipper and goggle rental (all included) you'll be making the most of your beach vacation. As an added bonus, if you enjoy snorkeling as much as we do, there is a beautiful marine park, "Bight Reef" that's just a 5 minute walk from Beaches where you'll have the opportunity see everything from turtles, rays and reef sharks, all of which we were lucky enough to encounter during our last visit! Amazing!
