Best Sandals Resorts Ranked 2026: Expert Travel Guide

Best Sandals Resort - 17 Best Ranked and Reviewed.jpg

Let's make this choice easier. We know that for most of our clients looking to pick the best Sandals resort, it can feel like a gamble. But today, we’re going to help you with that!

With 17 luxury all-inclusive resorts across the Caribbean, each promising world-class beaches, gourmet dining, and romantic suites, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Brochures blur together, review sites contradict each other and when your trying to decode the paragraph-long room titles, it’s easy to get confused.

Hi! We’re Jonathan and Angela, founders of Rivage Travel and Best Caribbean Resorts.

We’ve not only been recognized as Sandals top US agency, but we’re also Sandals Chairman’s Royal Club Diamond Elite travel experts, which puts us in the top 1% of all US-based advisors.

We have personally spent countless nights at every Sandals resort, not just as guests but as passionate advocates for our clients …. to help us better plan unforgettable travel experiences.

Each year, we help hundreds of couples choose the right Sandals resort for their honeymoon, anniversary, or long-overdue getaway. And after more than 15 years in the industry, we're sharing our insider experience with you so you get the most out of your cherished time away!

2025-02-22_17-51-38.jpg

Our 2026 ranking below is an experience-based guide that highlights each resort, iconic favorites, and the latest innovations, all alongside timeless classics. We’ve ranked them in order from #1 to #17 based on what actually matters to our clients: beach quality, room categories, food, service, privacy, and overall vibe.

Our client Michelle S. ranked us 5 stars on Google: “Jonathan at Rivage was outstanding! We had a group of 10 travelers and he took care of all the details for us for all the rooms and arrangements, and went out of his way to answer all our questions and special asks of the resort (around diving, group dining, etc). He was always quick to respond and reached out proactively to remind us of to-do and fun items. His insider knowledge from having been at the resort personally was also helpful! He made our trip easy and stress free. 100% recommend and we will definitely use Rivage again for any other Sandals/Beaches vacations.”

An Unfiltered Guide by Sandals Chairman’s Royal Club Diamond Elite Advisors Who’ve Stayed at All 17

Best Sandals Resort - arial view of Sandals Royal Barbados Pool.jpg

This 2026 ranking is our unfiltered, experience-based guide to all 17 Sandals properties, from the iconic to the underrated, the newly built to the quietly aging.

If you're tired of the generic lists and want real advice from experts who’ve been there, you’re in the right place.

Let’s get into our methodology for ranking the top 17 Sandals resorts...

How We Ranked the Sandals Resorts in 2026

Sandals Grenada - Best Sandals Resort.jpg

Our list is crafted from firsthand experiences at every Sandals resort, complemented by feedback from over 2,500 clients who have trusted us with their getaways.

To determine our rankings, we asked:

  • Which resorts consistently deliver those wow moments?

  • Where do our clients come back saying, “That was an amazing beach”?

  • Which resorts look amazing online but fell a bit short in person?

  • Where’s the food actually good, not just good for an all-inclusive?

  • What suites are worth the upgrade, and which ones aren’t?

At Rivage Travel, our goal is to make sure our clients always enjoy their vacations and beyond that, the planning experience.... Here is some feedback we recently received.

“Amazing support! I was very nervous booking but Jonathan worked with me to create a wonderful surprise anniversary for my husband & I. Details I didn’t even consider, he had already thought of. And questions I had, he was quick to respond to. During the trip he even checked in to see if everything was going well. I couldn’t have been more comfortable or relaxed if I had done it on my own. Definitely looking forward to the next trip with Rivage helping us!"

Here are the main factors we used to rank each Sandals resort:

  • Beach & Water Quality: Swimmable? Calm/rough? Crystal-clear/cloudy?

  • Rooms & Suites: SkyPool? Swim-up? Butler? Overwater? Rated on layout, privacy, location, and value.

  • Food & Dining Options: Food quality, restaurant variety, and ease of dining (waits/reservations).

  • Overall Vibe & Atmosphere: Social/peaceful? Romantic/party-heavy? Walkable/sprawling? Noise levels, crowd types, and energy.

  • Service & Staff: Consistency, attentiveness, and delivery of the “luxury included” promise.

  • Value for Price: Ranked based on the actual five-star experience received for the price paid.

Best Sandals Resorts Ranked (2026)

# 1 Sandals Grande St. Lucian (St. Lucia)

Sandals Grande St. Lucian

If we had to send every client to just one Sandals resort, this would be it.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian is the most well-rounded property in the portfolio. The beach is wide, walkable, and swimmable year-round, a rarity in the Caribbean. The resort sits on its own peninsula, offering panoramic views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides. Plus, guests get full access to all three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia, making this the best “stay at one, play at three” destination.

Rooms range from classic Club Level all the way up to overwater bungalows, with something for every budget. The service is polished but relaxed, and the energy strikes a near-perfect balance between fun and romantic.

It’s the best Sandals resort, hands down.

# 2 Sandals Saint Vincent (Saint Vincent & the Grenadines)

Sandals St Vincent.avif

The newest resort in the brand, and arguably its boldest, featuring the newest Sandals 2.0 updates.

Sandals Saint Vincent is where innovation meets seclusion. Located in the lush, untapped paradise of the Grenadines, this resort is a true escape from it all. Think rainforest-meets-Caribbean Sea, with sleek, modern architecture and large immersive suite designs that make the most of the landscape.

What sets it apart? The food. Elevated culinary experiences like Buccan and Sora deliver some of the best meals we’ve had at any Sandals. And the water? Warm, clear, and calm. Whether you're swimming, paddleboarding, or just relaxing, it’s all perfect.

Sandals Saint Vincent is best for couples who want something new, elevated, and totally off the grid, without sacrificing luxury.

Dan, one of our clients, and his wife, had the best anniversary at Sandals St. Vincent:

Jonathan with Rivage Travel did a remarkable job setting up our 45th Wedding Anniversary trip to Sandals Resort in St. Vincent. They even threw in a candlelight dinner and booked our flights. St. Vincent is a beautiful island with wonderful people. The resort is something special. My wife kept referring to it as her Wisteria Lane. Food was fantastic, butler service was great and the spa time was exceptional. Thanks Rivage Travel!

# 3 Sandals Dunn’s River (Ocho Rios, Jamaica)

After a complete rebuild, Sandals Dunn’s River has re-entered the Sandals lineup as a powerhouse.

This resort brings modern luxury to the north coast of Jamaica with glass-clad SkyPool Suites, infinity edge rooftops, and a fresh take on Sandals design with its Rondoval Village. The beach here is beautiful and calm, with some of the softest sand on the island.

Its location near the famous Dunn’s River Falls and other off-site attractions makes it great for explorers. Dining is diverse and refined, and service has vastly improved since its reopening.

It’s Jamaica’s most exciting resort for 2026, perfect for couples who want a mix of comfort and culture.

# 4 Sandals Grenada

Sandals-grenada-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

Sandals Grenada has always been a personal and client favorite, and for good reason.

From the moment you step into the lobby, the resort feels elevated, boutique luxury without the pretension. The sixth floor SkyPool and Infinity Pool suites here are amazing, with jaw-dropping views and are private. The beach is smaller, but the water is clear, calm and private.

Dining options like Le Jardinier, Soy and Butch’s consistently impress, and the staff is among the warmest in the Caribbean.

Grenada offers a more intimate, romantic experience, especially for couples who want high-end rooms without the crowds.

# 5 Sandals South Coast (Whitehouse, Jamaica)

Opens December 18th, 2026

Sandals South Coast.avif

Sandals South Coast is the most spacious and nature-forward resort, and home to the iconic overwater bungalows in Jamaica.

Located within a 500-acre nature preserve, Sandals South Coast is remote in the best way. The long beach is quiet and walkable, and every room has an ocean view. There’s a peaceful rhythm here: hammocks over the water, fire pits at night, and very little noise.

The overwater Latitudes bar is a highlight, and dining has steadily improved in recent years. Sandals South Coast is a honeymoon staple for our clients, especially those who want to disconnect completely.

Here is some inspiration from our client Jenny (Google Business review): We had the absolute best experience booking our 20th anniversary trip to Sandals South Coast with Jonathan! He was quick to answer every question via email and even went the extra mile to help us request a specific room—which we were thrilled to receive at check-in. We truly appreciated his recommendation to visit South Coast for its relaxing atmosphere and the added luxury of having butlers who pampered us the entire stay. Jonathan and Angela made the planning process seamless, and we will definitely be rebooking with them for future vacations!”

INSIDER TRAVEL TIP: Due to the damages by Hurricane Melissa in October 2025, Sandals South Coast is closed until… Upon reopening, the entire resort will be reimagined and brought up to the Sandals 2.0 modernization philosophy.

# 6 Sandals Royal Curaçao (Curaçao)

Sandals-royal-curacao-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

Sandals Royal Curaçao is one of the brand’s most architecturally stunning properties, with modern design and European charm.

While the beach is man-made and more of a lagoon-style cove, the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is amazing. The resort is also home to one of the most innovative concepts Sandals has tried: Island Inclusive dining, which lets those of you booking certain butler level rooms and off-resort dining experience at partnered restaurants, included.

We recommend Curaçao for couples who want something different: a combination of Dutch-Caribbean charm, innovative design, and access to a culturally rich island where the natives speak up to four languages.

# 7 Sandals Montego Bay (Jamaica)

Sandals Montego Bay.avif

One of the originals, and still one of the best for quick, fun-filled getaways.

Sandals Montego Bay is just five minutes from the airport, making it the easiest resort to get to. While planes do fly overhead, the convenience outweighs the noise for many guests. The beach is long and beautiful; full of life, it embodies the heart of this resort's energy.

Great for younger couples or those who want a short, high-energy escape with a social vibe and lots of beachfront dining.

Michael B., our client, recently returned from his time at Sandals Montego Bay, and left us this amazing review:

🌴 An Unforgettable Jamaican Getaway with Sandals and Rivage Travel! 🌴

We recently returned from a spectacular vacation at Sandals Montego Bay, and we owe much of our unforgettable experience to Jonathan at Rivage Travel. From start to finish, Jonathan made sure every detail of our trip was perfectly planned, making our Jamaican getaway truly remarkable. 🌟

One of the standout features of our trip was the VIP MoBay transfer from the airport, suggested by Jonathan. This service whisked us through Montego Bay's airport with ease and straight to the resort in style. 🚗 It was the perfect way to start our vacation, and the proximity to the airport was a huge plus, especially given the short flight from Orlando.

Experiencing the butler service for the first time was a game-changer. Our butler, Mychal, was absolutely amazing! Whether it was arranging our daily activities or making sure we had everything we needed, Mychal went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extraordinary. 🛎️ From here on, it's butler service all the way!

Our trip highlights included a fabulous couples massage and delightful dinners at the Thai restaurant at the Royal Caribbean and Butch's. Jonathan’s recommendation for a day trip along the Northern Coast was spot on. Our driver, O'Shane, was fantastic, taking us to all the hotspots, Seven Mile Beach, Rick's Cafe, and Margaritaville. 🏝️

We also enjoyed a fantastic sunset cruise directly from Sandals and an exhilarating horseback ride through the water. The culinary experiences at Toyoko Joes and Butch's were exceptional, all thanks to Jonathan’s perfect recommendations. 🍽️

Though we packed a lot into our trip, we left plenty to explore next time. If you love the beach, Sandals Montego Bay is the Jamaican resort for you! 🌊

Jonathan was equally amazing on our last trip to Sandals St. Lucia last year. We're now completely sold on Sandals Resorts, thanks to the impeccable planning and service provided by Rivage Travel and Jonathan.

INSIDER TRAVEL TIP: Due to damages Sandals Montego Bay sustained from Hurricane Melissa, the resort will be closed through December, 2026 where it will reopen fully reimagined with a new pool and dining concepts.

# 8 Sandals Grande Antigua (Antigua)

Sandals Grande Antigua.avif

Sandals Grande Antigua consistently ranks high among honeymooners, and this resort is why.

Dickenson Bay is one of the best beaches in the region, soft, white sand and swimmable turquoise water. The resort has two distinct sides: the lush, romantic Caribbean Grove and the more polished, Mediterranean Village.

Each offers a different vibe depending on your style. It’s a charming, walkable resort ideal for classic romance.

# 9 Sandals Regency La Toc (St. Lucia)

Sandals-regency-latoc-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

Sandals Regency La Toc is a hillside resort with dramatic views and serious charm.

The terrain here is steep, which can be a drawback for some, but it also means many rooms offer panoramic cliffside ocean views. The 9-hole golf course has recently been replaced with roondovals and they’re amazing! Plus, you get full access to Sandals Grande St. Lucian and Sandals Halcyon Beach.

La Toc is best for more active travelers or return guests who want a different angle on the island, literally.

# 10 Sandals Negril (Jamaica)

Sandals-Negril-Jamaica-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

Sandals Negril sits on one of Jamaica’s most famous stretches of beach: Seven Mile.

It’s a smaller, more intimate resort than Sandals Montego Bay, and the focus here is barefoot beach living.

The water is calm, shallow, and perfect for long swims and long walks. Rooms range from beachfront walkouts to simple Club Level suites and Sandals luxury level rooms tucked away in the resort's gardens.

Sandals Negril is great for couples who care more about sunsets and sand than butler service or massive pools.

INSIDER TRAVEL TIP: As a guest of Sandals Negril, you have access to Beaches Negril, which is their family resort brand. It is an easy 20-25 min walk or a 5-minute cab ride. We highly recommend visiting while you’re there and dining at Yaku, their Peruvian specialty restaurant.

# 11 Sandals Royal Bahamian (Nassau, Bahamas)

Sandals Royal Bahamian.avif

After a 25 million dollar renovation and the addition of an overwater chapel, Sandals Royal Bahamian is currently the only Sandals resort in the Bahamas and is back with a modern design.

Located in the heart of Nassau, it features elegant architecture, stylish rooms, and easy access to off-resort experiences like downtown shopping and excursions.

Sandals Royal Bahamian's biggest draw is the private offshore island, complete with a beach club, restaurant, and hammocks over the water, accessible by complimentary boat. The main beach is small but pretty, and the vibe is low-key luxury with British influences.

Best for travelers looking for a refined atmosphere, short flights from the U.S., and an upscale touch of the Bahamas.

INSIDER TRAVEL TIP: While we recommend visiting Sandals Royal Bahamian year-round, if you’re an ocean person like us, the water temps can be a little chilly in the winter months.

# 12 Sandals Royal Caribbean (Montego Bay, Jamaica)

Sandals-royal-caribbean-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

Sandals Royal Caribbean is charming, compact, and steeped in British colonial style, complete with a traditional afternoon tea.

The highlight here is its overwater bungalows, the first in Jamaica, which remain among the most sought-after suites in the brand.

However, for 2026, disregard everything you’ve read about Sandals Royal Caribbean. Similar to Sandals Montego Bay, this resort is also receiving a complete makeover and being brought up to the Sandals 2.0 standards.

When it reopens in…. Sandals Royal Caribbean will become a brand new resort, and we expect many of the shortcomings it had prior to hurricane Melissa will be fixed and drastically improved upon.

# 13 Sandals Royal Barbados (Barbados)

Sandals Royal Barbados is upscale, modern, and loaded with amenities, but it’s not for everyone.

Every room here is either Club or Butler level, and the resort is packed with features: rooftop pool, bowling alley, gourmet food trucks, and a lively beach club scene. It shares full exchange privileges with the adjacent Sandals Barbados, which is separated only by a sidewalk.

Despite the perks, the beach is often crowded, and the overall vibe leans more toward the active side. We recommend Sandals Royal Barbados for couples who prioritize nightlife, suite style, and dining options.

INSIDER TRAVEL TIP: When booking Sandals Barbados or Sandals Royal Barbados during the Summer months, the Sargassum seaweed blooms can affect your beach experience. If you do book during this time and the ocean is unusable, we highly recommend doing a day trip to the west coast which we feature in our vlog above.

# 14 Sandals Barbados (Barbados)

Located next door to Sandals Royal Barbados, Sandals Barbados is more boutique in nature and for 2026, is receiving some major updates with room refreshes and pool redesigns.

Guests here enjoy all of Sandals Royal Barbados amenities, making it a great value for those who don’t need the newest room categories.

Personally, Sandals Barbados is best for value-conscious guests who want access to everything Barbados offers, but aren’t picky about having the latest updates.

# 15 Sandals Royal Plantation (Ocho Rios, Jamaica)

Sandals-royal-plantation-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

This all-butler boutique resort is beloved by some and polarizing for others.

Sandals Royal Plantation is small, quiet, and feels like an old-world Caribbean estate. With only 74 suites, there are no crowds, no noise, and no parties. The service is high-end, and the clifftop views are beautiful.

But the property would be considered dated by some, but that is the point of this resort. It has purposely retained the Caribbean charm from years gone by, and if you look at the reviews, it continues to be one of the most beloved Sandals resorts in the entire portfolio.

The service is so good that the General Manager will know your name and interact with you throughout your stay.

We recommend Sandals Royal Plantation only for guests who want privacy above all else and are okay trading flash for familiarity.

# 16 Sandals Halcyon Beach (St. Lucia)

Sandals-halcyon-beach-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

Sandals Halcyon Beach is marketed as “the Garden of Eden,” and the landscaping really is beautiful, but the experience is different as compared to its sister properties, Sandals Regency LaToc and Sandals Grande St. Lucian.

The beach is short and the water can be rougher than at the Grande. The resort’s layout is flat which is great for those who have mobility restrictions. The rooms are simple and comfortable, and new for 2025, are the Rondovals with private pools and beachfront butler walkouts.

Sandals Halcyon Beach is great for budget-minded guests who want to visit St. Lucia who plan to spend most of their time off-site or at the other two resorts.

# 17 Sandals Ochi (Ocho Rios, Jamaica)

Sandals-ochi-Jamaica-best-sandals-resort.jpeg

Sandals Ochi is the largest Sandals resort, and the most polarizing.

It’s divided between the hillside and beachside areas, connected by a hop-on shuttle. There are dozens of room types, 16 restaurants, and a constant buzz of activity. For some guests, it’s a paradise of options. For others, it can feel chaotic.

The beach is small, the energy is party-heavy at times, and service can be hit or miss due to the resort’s size. We rarely recommend Sandals Ochi for honeymoons or first-time Sandals guests, but it can be a good value for younger travelers who want action and don’t mind navigating a big, busy property.

Beyond the Rankings: Insider Tips and Hidden Insights

Sandals Royal Curaco - arial.jpg

Every Sandals resort is beautiful on paper and online. They all promise luxury, romance, and paradise. But the truth is, what works for you might be a complete mismatch for another.

Angela and I have spent the last 15+ years helping couples avoid travel mistakes they didn’t even know they were making, like:

  • Booking the “wrong” room category (hint: it's not always worth the upgrade)

  • Choosing a resort based on social media, not actual atmosphere

  • Overlooking hidden details because they weren’t at the top of a list

That’s where we come in.

At Rivage Travel, we don’t just rank resorts; we take the time to match you to the right one, all at no cost to you. When you book with us, we receive a commission from Sandals, so our professional services will always remain highly personal and complimentary.

You’ll even receive my personal cell phone number. That is how much we care about you and your experience.

Which Sandals Resort Is Best for You?

Best for Privacy & Peace

Best for Nightlife & Social Vibes

  • Sandals Montego Bay – Active beach scene, live entertainment, and a fun crowd

  • Sandals Ochi – Large property with pool parties, late-night spots, and social energy (not for quiet seekers)

Best for Short Getaways

Insider Planning Tips from Your Sandals Royal Club Diamond Elite Advisors

Jonathan and Angela Rivage Travel.jpg

Over the years, we’ve seen couples make the same avoidable mistakes, not because they booked a bad resort, but because they booked the wrong one for them.

Here’s what we always tell our clients before they book:

  • Don't just look at the room photo. Two SkyPool Suites at two different resorts may look similar online but feel totally different in person.

  • Transfers matter. Some resorts require long, winding drives and you need to know how to navigate those nuances. We always help clients weigh convenience vs payoff.

  • Not every “upgrade” is worth it. Sometimes, the best room is a modest beachfront Club Level with the perfect view.

  • Timing is everything. Booking early, with flexible travel windows, saves you the most money, and gives access to the best rooms.

Work with someone who knows these resorts inside and out, not just what the website says. We’ve toured every suite, eaten at every restaurant, and spent real time at every Sandals property.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What activities and amenities are available at Sandals Barbados?

Guests enjoy PADI-certified scuba diving, fitness programs with professional trainers, spa treatments, and daily live entertainment.

Which excursions are popular among guests at Sandals Barbados?

Catamaran cruises, island safaris, and snorkeling at Carlisle Bay are top choices.

Here are our top six experiences for Sandals Barbados:

  1. Catamaran & Snorkeling Cruise: Sail along the coast of Barbados on a luxury catamaran, stopping to snorkel with sea turtles on the colorful coral reefs. The cruise often includes a delicious Bajan lunch and, of course, unlimited drinks.

  2. Island Safari Adventure: This off-road 4x4 tour takes you through Barbados' hidden beaches and forests.

  3. Harrison’s Cave Tour: Get underground and visit a cave system filled with stalactites, stalagmites, and clear pools, all while riding on an electric tram.

  5. Atlantis Submarine Adventure: Go beneath the waves in a real submarine to see marine life, shipwrecks, and coral formations in Barbados' clear waters.

  6. Oistins Fish Fry Night Tour: Experience an authentic Barbadian tradition with fresh seafood and live music, and at the famous Oistins Friday Night Fish Fry.

Which airport serves as the main gateway for travelers heading to Sandals Barbados?

The main gateway for Sandals Barbados is the Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). There are multiple daily flights from the United States, and American Airlines offers the most direct flights from Miami and Charlotte.

What is the distance between Sandals Barbados and the nearest airport?

Sandals Barbados is located approximately 15 minutes (about 6 miles or 10 kilometers) from Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) and offers complimentary roundtrip airport transfers for all guests.

Is Sandals Barbados exclusively for couples?

Yes, it was designed to provide a romantic and luxurious getaway, making it a great destination for honeymooners, anniversaries, and couples looking to reconnect. Its proximity to the airport makes it a good choice for first-time visitors and those looking for a short stay.

Where is Sandals Barbados located, and what are the recommended ways to reach the resort?

It's in St. Lawrence Gap, and guests can use complimentary airport transfers, or as your travel advisor, we can arrange private transfers at an additional cost. Those in upper-tiered butler rooms will receive Rolls Royce transfers.

Is Sandals Barbados adult-only?

Yes, only adults (18+) are allowed to travel here.

What is the difference between the two Sandals resorts in Barbados?

The main difference between Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados is the room categories offered.

  • Sandals Barbados offers a more traditional Caribbean resort feel, with tropical gardens.

  • Sandals Royal Barbados, on the other hand, is newer and considered more modern and upscale. It features Skypool Suites, Millionaire Suites, and Swim-Up Suites. It also has a rooftop infinity pool, a 4-lane bowling alley, a craft beer bar, and a gourmet donut shop. Royal Barbados also has additional dining options, with 10 restaurants, bringing the combined total across both resorts to 21.

Both resorts share amenities, meaning you can enjoy both locations with the “Stay at One, Play at Two,” feature that Sandals is so well known for. If you're looking for a more intimate bespoke setting, Sandals Barbados is a great choice. If you prefer a more contemporary, high-end experience, Sandals Royal Barbados may be the better option.

Is it worth going all-inclusive in Barbados?

It depends on your travel style and what you want from your trip, but we'd say yes, especially with Sandals' location in the St. Lawrence Gap, the dining and nightlife district for Barbados. You can spend your day at the resort and then find a nice local bar or restaurant to visit and mingle with the locals in the evening.

How much is Sandals Barbados per night?

The nightly rates at Sandals Barbados vary depending on room category, travel dates, and available booking promotions at the time of travel. As of February 2025, prices start at approximately $322 per person per night. However, they can fluctuate, with some upper tiered rooms starting at around $512 per night. On average, a 7-night stay for two adults ranges between $4,000 and $7,000, excluding flights.

Which Sandals in Barbados is nicer?

If you prefer a more modern, luxurious feel with all Club and Butler lever suites, Sandals Royal Barbados is the place to be, however, if you're looking for a laid-back, tropical vibe with a slightly lower price, we recommend Sandals Barbados. Regardless of your choice, you'll spend time together at one of the top Sandals resorts.

Good news: Staying at either one gives you access to both resorts, so you can enjoy all restaurants, pools, and beaches regardless of which one you book!

What is the average age for Sandals Barbados?

The average age of guests at Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados typically falls between 30 and 50 years old, though there’s a mix of ages depending on the time of year.

Age Breakdown at Sandals Barbados:

  • Honeymooners & Young Couples (25-35) – Many newlyweds choose Sandals, especially in peak wedding season of April - July

  • Middle-Aged Couples (35-55) – Many of these guests are there celebrating anniversaries or enjoying a romantic getaway.

  • Older Couples (55+) – Some retired couples visit, especially during quieter months of November - January.

Factors That Affect the Guest Age Group:

✔️ Season: Honeymooners dominate in summer & fall, while winter (high season) sees more older couples escaping the cold.
✔️ Resort Choice: Sandals Royal Barbados attracts a slightly younger, more energetic crowd due to its trendy vibe, rooftop bar, and bowling alley, however, no matter your age, there isn't a bad or good time to go.
