The resort transfer takes approximately 90 minutes through windy, sometimes narrow roads.
Dinner reservations are required at a few restaurants. If you’re in Club Level, contact your concierge upon arrival to make your reservations as they tend to fill up quickly. If you are in a butler category, consult with your butler so they can do it for you. Those in the Luxury category, there is a food and dining representative in the main lobby who'll assist with making those reservations.
All of the beaches in St. Lucia are public so there will be a few vendors selling tours but they are friendly and a "no thank you" is enough to let them know you’re not interested. If you are interested, there are some good ones include the Simon Says & Joe Knows tour.
Guests are able to walk to the village and to Pigeon Park. You can climb Pigeon Mountain for $7.00. The spectacular views are well worth it. Wear Sneakers!

The boat dock for snorkeling and diving excursions is a brief 15 minute drive to the west end of the island into the capital city of Bridgetown.
The beach is not expansive and at times the water can be a bit rough. Also due to it's proximity, there may be seaweed on the beach and high winds from time to time. Sandals has however built a jetty in-front of Sandals Barbados which prevents seaweed from landing on the beach. If you want to embrace the winds, this is one of the few Caribbean nations with surfing!

The ocean is not as calm as it is at Sandals Grande St. Lucian. From time to time you may see red flags which makes non-motorized water sports unavailable.
There are a number of rooms built on the bluff so plan to do quite a bit of walking. Travel TIP...Staff members in golf carts will take you to where you'd like to go - with your cocktail in hand (of course!)
Shuttles run on a frequent schedule between resorts and times are posted in the main lobby.
The Millionaire Suites with a private plunge pool are highly recommended. The view is absolutely breathtaking as is the butlers services provided.

This luxurious all-inclusive resort is world-class and is located only a 1/2 mile from the Maurice Bishop International Airport and 11 miles from Annandale Waterfalls which is must see when visiting the Spice Island.

Sandals Grenada has two main pools. One includes a sunken firepit and several other beautiful pools are located throughout the resort. The large main pool is where most of the activity takes place and the Play Makers will keep you involved and entertained.
The Pink Gin beach is beautiful and private but not expansive so it’s easily walkable.
The diving in Grenada is excellent and some of the best I’ve done anywhere in the world even rivaling dives in Australia on the Great Barrier Reef. The team here is top notch, fun, professional, safety conscious and efficient. They do not have a dock so you will need wade through a couple feet of water to get onto the dive boat.
Photographers will be available throughout your stay to capture those memorable honeymoon celebration moments.
The resort is gorgeous and everything is within easy walking distance however some of the Club Level rooms on the Pink Gin building are on a hill so walking up stairs is required but well worth it for the views.
The water is clear and very easy to swim in.

The dress code at Butch’s is enforced as they do not allow men with open toed shoes to enter.
The private pools are not heated and offer a nice reprieve from the warm Caribbean sun.
As with most Sandals resorts, the butlers will reserve beach spots early in the morning for their guests however there are usually enough chairs to go around so there isn't much of a need to wake up early to catch a good place on the beach or around the pool.
In some of the rooms there is little to no privacy in the vanity and shower area because there is no bathroom door.

There are three pools at Sandals South Coast including the newly redesigned Dutch village pool. The French Pool is the smallest and has most of the daily activities such as volleyball, and the Italian pool is the largest with pool floats you can lounge on to take in the amazing Caribbean sunshine.
The resort sits on a private two mile stretch of beach which is both beautiful and expansive.
Sandals South Coast has plenty of beach and pool lounge chairs available at all times throughout the day, so getting up at sunrise is not needed to get a good spot.

How long does it take to get to Sandals South Coast? The ride from the airport takes approximately 60 minutes on a newly paved road.
Sandals South Coast is in isolated location so there isn’t much to do off the resort but there are plenty of activities and things to see and do on the resort.
The resort is expansive and while it’s not hilly, be prepared to walking quite a bit if you're located in the French Village.
The resort’s proximity and isolation is a plus for many of our honeymoon clients but if you’re looking to go out and mingle with the locals this may not be the place for you.
